SMS Opt-In Policy

Clear information about optional Consult Rushworth text messages, your consent, and how to stop them at any time.

Last updated: September 10, 2026

SMS consent is optional. It is collected separately from general website terms and is never pre-selected.

To stop texts at any time, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP or email john@consultrushworth.com.

01

SMS Program

Consult Rushworth SMS Updates is an optional text-message program from Consult Rushworth, a Marin County digital marketing consultancy. If you choose to opt in, we may use text messages to respond to your inquiry, coordinate a consultation, send appointment reminders, share service-related updates, and occasionally send marketing or promotional information about our services.

02

How You Opt In

You opt in only by actively selecting a separate, unchecked SMS consent box on a Consult Rushworth website form and entering a mobile phone number. Consent is not required to request information, book a call, purchase services, or use the website. We do not treat acceptance of our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy alone as consent to receive texts.

03

Message Frequency and Cost

Message frequency varies based on your inquiry, appointments, and the services you choose. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your plan.

04

How to Stop Messages

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or REVOKE to any message from us. After we process your request, you will receive one confirmation message and we will not send additional SMS messages unless you later opt in again.

05

How to Get Help

Reply HELP to a message for assistance, or email john@consultrushworth.com. You may also contact us through our Contact page. We aim to respond to support requests promptly during normal business hours.

06

Consent Records and Privacy

We keep a record of your SMS consent, including the form or method used, the consent language shown, and the date and time of your opt-in, as reasonably necessary to operate the program and demonstrate consent. We use your mobile number only for the purposes you agreed to. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more information about how we handle personal information.

07

Eligibility and Carriers

You must be the account holder or have the account holder’s permission to enroll a mobile number. Delivery is subject to your carrier’s network availability and policies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

08

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our messaging practices, service providers, or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date tells you when this page was most recently revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
